With a uniquely appealing sound and unassuming style, Grey Sanford has a singer/songwriter feel with hints of blues, jazz, rock & a little bit of jam which harkens back the sound of The Allman Bros & Marshall Tucker Band with a new millennium spin. With their infectious melodies, harmonies, chilled hooks and honest lyrics Grey Sanford, based out of Providence RI, has gathered quite a diverse following. Mission Hill is an alternative rock band from Boston MA that mixes provoking songwriting, catchy hooks, moody vocals, an energetic live show, and strong musicianship with an unerring commitment to their unique sound.

Since forming in late 2007 they have gained a large following through relentless gigging and indie distribution. Their single “Crazy” is receiving airplay all over the country and is steadily rising up the radio charts. The band has received much critical acclaim including recently being awarded an LA Music Award for “Indie Male Vocalist of the Year”, being named the “Top Local Band To Watch in 2010″ by Boston Music Spotlight, as well as being named to the number one spot on Alternative Addiction’s list of “Top Ten Unsigned Bands in the Country”.

After bursting onto the scene with their debut EP, “Mission Hill EP”, the band has grown into one of the premiere bands on the New England music scene. AJ Edwards

For singer/songwriter/guitarist AJ Edwards, music has always offered a certain ‘pull…’  “I think I’ve had this subconscious desire to play music for awhile,” comments AJ, “but it all really began to surface when I first saw U2 perform in Boston in 2001. I began teaching myself guitar a couple days after.”

The Boston born/based artist soon began to realize his passion for songwriting and spent many late nights building a balanced set of original songs and covers.  “For awhile I really just wanted to get out there and play, but at the same time I felt that I needed something original to work into my act first,” says AJ.  Eventually, Edwards grabbed his acoustic guitar and booked a few dates at local bars and college campuses, which resulted from his earliest steps on stage at numerous open-mike nights. Since then, he has collaborated with some highly respected artists in the local music scene including legendary studio drummer, John Dorizzi, and engineers, Dave Lefkowitz (Johnny A) and Jay Frigoletto (Alice In Chains, Oasis, Ani DiFranco) on his self-produced, debut full-band
album, “Start Over the Moon.” The record was released October 2009 and received subsequent airplay on numerous commercial and college radio stations in the northeast.

Edwards is currently in the studio working on a six-song EP, which he anticipates will be finished this summer. “There is definitely something for everyone on this record – and while I’m often most comfortable channeling my musical influences, I want more people to know what an AJ Edwards album sounds and feels like.” Edwards adds, “A proper introduction is the goal of this release.”

Six Day Slide

Six Day Slide was founded by the Fortin brothers, Dave (front man – vocals) and Drew (guitar), Matt Beals (bass), and Dave Jacintho (drums) in the fall of 2004 in Boston, MA. Since then, the band has written many original rock pop songs and has also released their 12 track album Lights and multiple EPs.

The band’s name, created by Dave Jacintho, was derived from a line in the movie Swingers where the group of buddies discusses how long to wait to call a girl after you get her number – answer being “six days.”

Six Day Slide has toured all over the Northeastern United States playing bars, clubs, festivals, and rock venues. They’ve had the opportunity to share the stage with the likes of Sister Hazel, Teddy Geiger, Pat McGee, Will Daily, Dada and many other major acts.

The band’s single “New Day,” a tribute to a friend who lost a battle to cancer, is currently being distributed on satellite radio and can be heard at major department store and food chains like Lowes, JC Penny, Arby’s and Wendy’s.

25 Pearl are 5 friends who love what they play, write original music and love to play out. Whether it be with the trumpet, bongos, drums, bass, keys or guitar music will be made. We are currently playing 1 show a month at various clubs around Boston. We just singed on with Fleming Entertainment Enterprises who will be managing the band. We look forward to the relationship. We are also working on our 1st release. We like to keep our live shows interesting by changing them up as we go along. What that means we don’t really know until we hit the stage but we can guarantee you will enjoy the music. We are all passionate about what we do and want our fans to be as passionate as us about the music.
